Delicious hearty food. Just what you need after a day’s walking. Really lovely owner. We left our card in the cafe and he came out on the street to find us. They could charge twice as much for the set menu.

Plus cafe con leche y cafe descafininado con leche total 52 euros for the 4 of us. We used google to translate menu. Nice salads green mixed/tomato/pasta with tuna and sopa de pescado followed by pollo, salmon, diablo del mar, sardines on potato with white wine of the region and water. Chocolate tarte and Santiago tarte and cornetto to follow. The choir were practicing in the church across the way afterwards lovely acoustics! Sin duda si hay algo que caracteriza a Euskadi es la calidad de su cocina y su gente. En el Avarez puedes encontrar ambas, increíble calidad y cantidad en su cocina y profesionalidad en su gente. Muy buen menú del día. La atención por parte de los camareros excelente. Muy buena variedad con sus platos de cuchara.🥄 Totalmente recomendable.

Cena excelente. Hemos pedido una botella de agua, dos copas de vino, verduras a la parrillada con huevo, pimientos con ventresca y anchoa, codillo y bacalao, más postre por un precio super asequible. El aceite de los pimientos super rico y de calidad. Volveríamos absolutamente.
